[edit]I haven’t said it has Mediterranean climate, but a Mediterranean pattern!
Which the winters are wetter than the summers!! דולב חולב (talk) 16:50, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Stuff on Wikipedia is ideally based on WP:RELIABLESOURCES, not our own judgement. If you can bring a reliable source that says the city has a "Mediterranean rainfall pattern", or a similarly reliable source that defines such a pattern to include a city of this precipitation regime, your edit would likely be accepted. Uness232 (talk) 21:09, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
- Alexandroupolis first of all, look at this Mediterranean climate pattern or every other city with a Mediterranean climate.
- and on the other hand, look at Atlanta with summers a bit wetter than winters.
- so Pula has a climate combining those two. דולב חולב (talk) 00:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- Sort of, but that doesn't matter. What matters is sources; do you have any reliable sources to bring to the table about Mediterranean rainfall patterns, where they start and end? If not, your edits can be challenged and/or deleted on Wikipedia. Uness232 (talk) 01:34, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- Look, Atlanta , a well known Humid subtropical climate, has a pretty equal rainfall throughout the year, a peak in July. Same as Charlotte, North Carolina. Another well known humid subtropical city. This climate type used has a summer peak. If Pula has wetter winters and drier summers, that making it a bit similar to Split, Croatia a Mediterranean climate city. דולב חולב (talk) 15:26, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- Not all humid subtropical climates have a summer peak. Kutaisi has a winter maximum for example. So do many places in Japan. That doesn’t matter though, your opinions are not reliable sources. Material needs to be cited to reliable sources on Wikipedia. Uness232 (talk) 15:52, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
- It’s not my opinion, it’s a known fact 😤🙄 דולב חולב (talk) 23:25, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- Sure. Bring me sources and I'll accept this change. Uness232 (talk) 01:47, 9 January 2024 (UTC)
